About Vilde Hagelund
With the ambition of creating an alternative to mass-produced products with a short lifespan, Vilde Hagelund combines craftsmanship, material knowledge and technology to create durable products designed to last.
She begins the design process by questioning established conventions and experimenting with form to find a distinct character. Her process constantly moves between digital and hand drawing, while keeping the materials close at hand, particularly wood. By working with physical models, she can evaluate how the form relates to the space, materiality, details and construction.
