How did Reform end up at the forefront of technological and environmental change within the design industry? Reform Design Lab set out in 2017, with high ambitions and one clear goal: to merge art and technology into sustainable design pieces. Using large scale 3D printers along with premium recyclable materials, they were able to create a third disruptive way between traditional handwork and mass production. Their first creation was the Reform Lounge Chair, entirely made from premium biocomposite, and entirely circular. The moment they laid eyes on it, they knew this was something completely different from anything we’d ever seen before. They decided to follow the chair wherever it brought them. More statement design pieces will follow as they continue to lead the way for global change.
