Welcome to Talks at Bankplassen 4 from 1 PM - 3 PM. The theme for this year's DS, "Collaborate," will be explored through DS Talks with panel discussions, live interviews, and lectures. Cecilie Tyri Holt is the moderator for DS Talks 2023.

Lex Pott, Designer Dutch designer Lex Pott employs a raw and intuitive method. In his work he returns to the origin of the materials he uses, most, wood, stone and metal. He does not hide his designs under indirect layers but reduces them to their very essence. Pott works from his design studio based in Rotterdam. He has won numerous awards.
Tina Norden, Architect and Interior designer, Conran and Partners Tina joined Conran and Partners in 1997 and the board of the company in 2016. As a Principal today, Tina jointly leads the practice and its overall strategic direction through the UK and Hong Kong studios. She has a diverse portfolio, from hotel and restaurant design to high-end residential and boutique retail projects. She believes in style over fashion in design to ensure the result is timeless and remains fresh.

Kristine Five Melvær, Designer Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvær works fluidly across product categories and materials, often extending beyond the product itself into art direction and graphic design. Melvær collaborates with a wide range of manufacturers, including Poltrona Frau, When Objects Work, HAY, Longchamp, Vestre, Røros Tweed, and Heymat. She has won several international awards.
Marius Myking, Director of product design, Snøhetta Marius Myking is a strategic designer and creative leader. In 2017 Marius was brought on board to establish and build Snøhetta’s newest discipline, Product Design, across its studios. As Director of Product Design at Snøhetta Marius leverages his industry know-how and global outlook to inspire and guide creative teams and collaborators to develop tangible projects that pushes the frontier of sustainable design and innovation while supporting Snøhetta’s projects and market needs..

Simon Theimer Anund, Founder and Creative Director, Verk Simon is the co-founder and creative director of the Swedish furniture company VERK. With a background as a designer and sculptor, Simon is committed to exclusively working with local production while maintaining a focus on sustainability, traceability, functionality and design. He is also dedicated to cross-border collaboration – involving suppliers, producers, architects, designers, and clients. Everyone must take their responsibility; only together can we make a difference.
Cecilie Tyri Holt Cecilie Tyri Holt is an educated art historian and also holds practical education within the field of art. She has worked as both an art journalist, critic, editor, and author of various art books for nearly 20 years. In 2017, she also initiated Norway's first podcast about art, "Kunstpodden." Cecilie's role during Designers' Saturday will be as a moderator, journalist, conversational partner and facilitator for DS Talks.
