Andreu World: Global Design with a Mediterranean Soul
Founded in 1955 as a small cabinetmaking workshop in Valencia, Andreu World has grown into a global leader in sustainable and design-driven furniture. Celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2025, the company remains true to its roots, combining traditional craftsmanship with a forward-looking vision focused on responsible innovation and long-term excellence.
Today, Andreu World operates four production plants—three located in the province of Valencia—and manages a network of over 30 exclusive showrooms worldwide. With 70% of its production exported to countries across five continents, the brand proudly brings Mediterranean warmth and craftsmanship to the world’s most iconic spaces, from universities and corporate headquarters to hotels, restaurants, and civic centers.
The company’s success is built on strong values: commitment to quality, people, and sustainability. Andreu World has collaborated with internationally renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck, Jasper Morrison, Alfredo Häberli, and Benjamin Hubert, creating versatile, elegant collections that have earned over 130 international design awards.
Sustainability is at the heart of Andreu World's philosophy. Since 2005, all its wood products have been FSC® certified, and in 2023 the company achieved BCorp certification, reaffirming its dedication to positive social and environmental impact. Initiatives like the use of BIO Thermopolymer, 100% recycled Pure® ECO plastic and Circular ONE® fabric reflect its firm commitment to circular economy principles, with the goal of achieving 100% circular designs by 2030.
Andreu World exemplifies how local strength can become global influence, offering sustainable, human-centered design solutions without ever losing sight of its Mediterranean heritage.
