For nearly 10 years, Eikund has been producing Norwegian design classics from the 1950s and 60s – bringing timeless furniture into both private homes and outstanding architectural projects.
Eikund was founded by Jørgen Tengesdal and Morten Hippe, driven by a shared passion to revive iconic Norwegian design through the reintroduction of mid-century classics.
Their journey began as a treasure hunt, leading to the creation of an archive with drawings and rights to more than 200 products. So far, our collection includes 13 dining and lounge chairs, along with 5 tables. Our goal is to launch two new products each year. We are deeply committed to preserving the stories behind the designs, developing the products with care, and crafting furniture built to last for generations.
The first chair we ever produced was from the Veng series by Torbjørn Bekken – and it remains one of our bestsellers. This year, we are excited to launch three new variants of Veng, which will be unveiled during Designers Saturday.
