Gärsnäs is a Swedish family run business with factory and headquarters in Gärsnäs at Österlen in Skåne. The company is owned and operated by Anna and Dag Klockby, along with father and father-in-law Åke Axelsson, interior designer and cabinetmaker, known for his countless interiors and chair models during his 60 years of work. Åkes designed his first chair for Gärsnäs in 1963 and the S-217 chair is still in production with us 57 years later.
