Founded in 1947 by Norwegian engineer Birger Hatlebakk, Glamox began with a groundbreaking innovation in aluminium surface treatment – glamoxation – leading to the production of highly efficient light reflectors. With roots in Molde, the company quickly grew into an international lighting supplier, expanding across Europe and beyond.
