Minus is a Norwegian furniture company working with the idea of regenerative consumption – that we, as consumers, should give back to nature more than we take.
For Minus, circularity is about designing furniture, but also about developing technological systems and business models that make it possible to manage materials and resources over the long term. Since 2018, the company has combined local production, research, and circular solutions to create furniture with the lowest possible climate footprint and ensuring that materials achieve the longest possible lifespan. Minus is both a producer and a retailer, and also offers products from other manufacturers through its retail platform. At Designers’ Saturday, Minus will showcase how regenerative thinking can be a driver of innovation in the furniture industry – from design to technological infrastructure.
The company will present products and concepts designed by Kaja Dahl, and Jenkins & Uhnger.
