DS jubileumslogo

Welcome to the celebration of 40 years of Designers’ Saturday! For 40 years, Designers’ Saturday has brought together designers, architects, interior architects, manufacturers and design enthusiasts for meetings, conversations and experiences centred around design. The evening kicks off with a professional programme from 17:00–19:00, followed by a party with music from 19:00–01:00, featuring some of Oslo’s most renowned DJs behind the decks. (The professional programme will be held in Norwegian only).

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME 17:00–19:00

Past Forward is the theme of Designers’ Saturday 2027 - exploring how where we come from can become the starting point for what we create next.

At a time defined by rapid shifts in trends, artificial intelligence and increasingly generic expressions, we take a closer look at what makes design, brands and people relevant over time. What happens when history meets the present? When heritage becomes raw material? And when identity becomes more important than the pursuit of what’s new?

His background includes NRK P3 and Urørt, and he has worked with established brands and institutions such as the BBC, Fjällräven, Blomqvist and DNT.
