Kvadrat was founded in Denmark in 1968 and has deep roots in Scandinavia's world-renowned design tradition.
Our products reflect our commitment to color, quality, simplicity and innovation. We consistently push the aesthetic, technological and functional properties of textiles. We do this by collaborating with leading designers, architects and artists, including: Patricia Urquiola, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Margrethe Odgaard, Alfredo Häberli, Doshi Levien, Giulio Ridolfo, Peter Saville, Pipilotti Rist, Thomas Demand and Olafur Eliasson.
Our close collaboration with the world's best artists, designers, architects and our manufacturing partners enables us to push the boundaries of textile design and innovation. We continuously explore new ideas for the use of materials and techniques in design and production. We value color as much as we value collaboration.
We are pioneers and are always on the move and open to design and collaboration. Our approach to product development is defined by collaboration, curiosity, knowledge sharing, responsibility and consideration for the environment.
Kvadrat is one of the first textile companies in Scandinavia to be validated by SBTi. We are committed to promoting effective change in our industry by taking concrete climate action.
A large part of our furniture fabrics are produced in Norway, including at Innvik in Stryn.
